The Super Arcade Controller is a top quality arcade controller, featuring an authentic Sanwa™ JLF-TP-8YT ball-top joystick with an octagonal restrictor plate, four or six Suzo-Happ pushbuttons, and a custom-made, 12-key membrane keypad that delivers amazing gameplay on three classic consoles, two Flashbacks, and several classic computers.

Maximum Output!  The Super Arcade Controller is designed for use with Atari 2600, Atari 7800, classic ColecoVision, ColecoVision Flashback, and all compatible consoles and 8-bit computers, including the Gemini console, the Atari 400, Atari 800, Commodore 64, and Adam computers, among several others.  For the Atari 2600 and 7800, the first two pushbuttons replicate the single fire button on the 2600's classic CX10/CX40 controller, or the left and right fire buttons on the Atari 7800's CX-24 "Pro-Line" controller.   For the classic ColecoVision, the four fire buttons duplicate the play on Coleco's original Super Action controller, while an optional pair of Edladdin "Speed Buttons" simulate the left and right spin of the Super Action's thumbwheel.  Both the classic and Flashback ColecoVision utilize the controller's custom-made, 12-key membrane keypad.

The Super Arcade Controller is built to last. The controller is housed in an 8" x 14" sloped aluminum case that is stable on the table or happy in your lap, while the Sanwa joystick and Suzo-Happ pushbuttons can take all the gameplay you can dish out.  Because we use an octagonal restrictor plate rather than a less expensive 4 or 8 way restrictor plate, your joystick has positive "landing spots" for smooth play on both maze games and diagonal shooters.  All harness connections are soldered and heatshrink wrapped. The result is a controller to last a lifetime!

Your wish is our command!   We can build your Super Arcade Controller using any combination of a rainbow of joystick ball and button colors, including the amazing gemstone balls in blue, geen, yellow, red, purple, or smoke.  And because some gamers prefer to decorate their controller case their own way, we can also leave off the eye-popping Edladdin graphic wrap and side art.

"Every rose has its thorns." This is also true for the Super Arcade Controller.  Because this controller uses an on-board microprocessor to handle translation/emulation between the input ports, the onboard controls, and the output ports, some finicky classic ColecoVision consoles have trouble with some or all of this specific list of games.  Strangely enough, other ColecoVision consoles have no problem with the exact same games.  And no compatability issues have ever been found with any Atari 2600, Atari 7800, or ColecoVision Flashback games.
