The All-Leaf: Supreme 78 utilizes old-fashioned electro-mechanical leaf switches on the Leaf Pro True-Leaf arcade ball joystick and all four arcade fire buttons for classic arcade gameplay on the Atari 2600, Atari 7800, and all 8-Bit home computers and game consoles that are compatible with the classic Atari CX-40 joystick. 

Old-school electromechanical leaf switches use strips of stiff but flexible metal that are connected together at one end and open at the other, like a tweezers.  The joystick shaft or fire button plunger bends the nearest metal leaf until it makes physical contact with the other leaf, completing the circuit and producing the action desired.  This switch design has been in use since the earliest days of pinball and other coin-op amusements.

Power gamers will appreciate the hair-trigger responsiveness and the unique tactile response delivered by real leaf switches, as well as the hinged control panel that delivers instant access to both the joystick and all four buttons for easy fine tuning.

The All-Leaf: Supreme 78 brings new playability and excitement to classic Atari 2600 and 8-Bit computer games. When used with an Atari 2600, Atari Flashback, or 8-Bit computer, all four buttons fire exactly the same as the single red fire button on the original Atari joystick, but with the incredible sensitivity of arcade coin-op hardware.

The All-Leaf: Supreme 78 transforms gameplay on great Atari 7800 games like Asteroids, Ballblazer, Centipede, Choplifter, Commando, Dig Dug, Donkey Kong, Food Fight, Galaga, Joust, and more.   The leaf switch arcade joystick and pushbuttons deliver true left/right two-button control just like the original Atari 7800 "Pro Line" controllers, but with none of the pain.

Easy to Play.  Supreme 78s are built in an 8" x 18" oak case that is stable on the table or happy in your lap, with the joystick and classic arcade fire buttons positioned for a natural wrist position on a factory-painted black steel punched plate control panel with ergonomic wrist support for maximum comfort during marathon gaming sessions. The all-leaf joystick is located at the center of the control panel, with pairs of leaf switch classic arcade buttons on the left and the right for supreme gameplay flexibility.  Under the hood, all harness connections are soldered and heatshrink wrapped. The result is a controller to last a lifetime with the ability to easily replace joystick and pushbutton microswitches if they ever wear out.  Cord length is approximately 5'6" (1.6m).
